Systems Engineer (Desktop Engineering)
Overview
In this role you will provide enterprise desktop, endpoint, and AV support in a complex IT environment. You will maintain Windows-based systems, deliver Tier 2 support for productivity platforms, and help ensure operational stability and lifecycle management. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and document procedures, shaping a reliable user experience. ResponsibilitiesAnalyze desktop, endpoint, and collaboration tool requirementsAdminister and support Windows workstation and endpoint environmentsProvide Tier 2 support for Microsoft 365 apps and services (Power Automate, Office, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)Deploy and manage endpoints using Tanium and PDQ (software distribution, patching, asset inventory, compliance)Manage enterprise print solutions (PaperCut MF, HP printers, Canon copiers)Provide AV support for conference rooms and AV systems (AVoIP, control interfaces)Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to troubleshoot/escalate issuesDocument system configurations and troubleshooting steps in a knowledge baseSupport endpoint standardization, security, and lifecycle initiatives
Key requirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field or 3 years of related experienceMinimum 3 years of general systems engineering experienceAt least 1 year of specialized experience with interactive, real-time systems supporting online or on-demand operationsAbility to analyze requirements, evaluate problems, and implement corrective actionsCollaboration across teamsAnalytical thinkingStrong communicationWindows desktop and endpoint administrationMicrosoft 365 administration (including Teams, Office apps, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Automate)Tanium and PDQ for endpoint management
