Company Description We suggest you enter details here. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Machinist located in Dundalk, MD. The Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. The Machinist's duties also include fabricating and modifying parts, performing routine maintenance on machinery, and monitoring the quality of finished products. Ensuring machines are running smoothly and troubleshooting any issues that arise are also part of the day-to-day tasks. Qualifications Experience with setting up and operating machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grindersKnowledge of fabrication and modification techniques for parts and instrumentsAbility to perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipmentProficiency in monitoring the quality and precision of finished productsStrong troubleshooting skills and ability to address and resolve machinery issuesAttention to detail and precision in workExcellent problem-solving abilities and organizational skillsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematicsRelevant vocational/technical training or certification is a plusStrong work ethic and reliability
