OneCell Diagnostics provides comprehensive genomic solutions for effective cancer management leveraging cutting edge Next-Generation Sequencing Technology (NGS) in combination with strong bioinformatics, AI/ML predictions, and data analytics for multi-omic biomarkers.1Cell is looking for a full time Research Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will play an important role in the laboratory focused on liquid biopsy and NGS technologies. The responsibilities include receiving clinical samples, Isolation of single circulating cancer cells and circulating cell free (ccf) DNA followed by library prep and sequencing. We are looking for someone with sound background in molecular biology and genomics technologies. The candidate will be expected conduct experiments, optimize throughput, maintain detailed records and analyze results. It is a part-time position with a possibility of becoming full time depending on performance.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities may include, but are not limited to:• Perform assays and lab procedures related to CTC & ccf DNA isolation, PCR, library prep, NGS, multiplex IHC assays including fluorescent imaging.• Ability to acquire accurate, reproducible data with a critical eye towards consistency, reproducibility, and the scientific methods in general.• Ensure that all laboratory processes adhere to SOPs and guidelines for precision and accuracy in liquid biopsy and NGS technologies.• Maintain the laboratory compliance with CLIA and CAP regulations.• Manage, monitor, and maintains equipment, facilities, and supplies.• Works in a professional and collaborative manner with coworkers and clients.• Provides operational support for testing activities including reagent preparation, and equipment maintenance.• Understands the turnaround time (TAT) of customer projects and comfortable in multi-tasking.• Experience with laboratory tracking systems, including spreadsheet and word processing applications and laboratory notebooks.Qualification and Skills• BS/MS in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or related field• Minimum of 2 years of lab experience is required• Experience in histology or microscopy is an advantage• Proficient in standard molecular biology techniques, including nucleic acid extraction, PCR, library prep and sequencing• Strong attention to detail• Experience working under regulatory environments such as CLIA, CAP is a plus• Start-up experience would be advantageous• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
