This is a front-office role with direct P&L impact, managing 1,995MWh of operating battery assets across multiple ISOs.The incoming Director will build trading infrastructure from the ground up. The company operates utility-scale storage projects with a 11,000 MW development pipeline and is establishing scalable market operations to maximize asset returns. This is not a support or coordination role. You'll own market strategy implementation, regulatory compliance, and trading desk operations with direct executive visibility.What We're Looking For2+ years in ERCOT power market operations including control room operations, power trading, generation scheduling, or asset management. Direct BESS experience preferred.Degree in finance, economics, math, electrical engineering, or related fieldWorking knowledge of multiple ISOs (ERCOT required; CAISO, PJM, MISO, NYISO, ISONE preferred)Proven ability to navigate complex market rules, manage vendor relationships, and ensure regulatory compliance across evolving market structuresStrong communication skills for high-stress environments and cross-functional collaboration with trading, regulatory, and technical teamNice to HaveExperience with Real-Time Co-Optimization implementationBackground in MMS systems, SCADA operations, or asset commissioningQSE desk operations or ISO client relationship managementRisk management and performance optimization experienceWhy This Role Stands OutBuild Something from Scratch You'll architect the trading operations for a growing storage portfolio.
