POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for providing psychiatric services to patients of LifeSkills under the supervision of a Licensed Psychiatrist.****This is an onsite and not telehealth****DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide direct services including psychiatric evaluation, med management, consultation and collateral services to referred patients.Document all services provided in accordance with agency standardsProvide on-site consultation or services to adult and child programs providing Therapeutic Rehabilitation Services at least monthlyParticipate in treatment team meetings providing supervision and feedback on pertinent casesComplete psychiatric treatment plans for all individuals for whom you are the primary providerMaintain agency expectation for productivity JOB REQUIREMENTS / EXPECTATIONS:Attend meetings, conferences and other professional and organizational functionsMay perform some services via teleconferencing equipment.May provide on-call services to crisis unit patients QUALIFICATIONS: Masters or Doctorate degree in Nursing.Completion of all requirements to practice as an Adult and/or Family Psychiatric and Mental Health Advanced Registered Nurse PractitionerMust have a collaborative agreement for prescriptive authority of controlled substances with a Licensed Psychiatrist.Must have a valid KY License - DEAMust be computer literate and capable of communicating through Microsoft Outlook, prescribing through computerized prescription drug programs and documenting in an EMR.
