Love history, nature, and talking to people? Looking for a fun, unique summer job? Stark Caverns is hiring full-time & part-time Tour Guides for our 2026 season! Availability Required for Field Trips in April and May Full-time from May through August (this is a must) About the Job As a Tour Guide, you’ll be the face of Stark Caverns—leading guests through our underground wonder while sharing stories, science, and a little Ozark magic. No two tours are exactly the same, and every day brings new guests and great conversations. You’ll be trained to confidently lead: Standard walking cavern tours Specialty black light tours that reveal glowing minerals and formations (evenings) Family-friendly seasonal programs and special events Assisting with escape room experiences (evenings) Supporting the gift shop when needed What You’ll Learn (We Train You!) Don’t worry—you don’t need to be a geology expert on day one. We’ll teach you everything you need to know! What We’re Looking For Friendly, reliable, and comfortable speaking to groups Enjoys learning and sharing information Able to walk, stand, bend, and climb stairs in a natural cave environment Comfortable working weekends, holidays, and evenings Team-oriented with a positive attitude Previous customer service or public speaking experience is a plus—but not required!
