Final compensation is based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.Essential Responsibilities:Design and develop tumbling programs that cater to different age groups and skill levels, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced students.Create structured lesson plans focusing on key tumbling skills such as rolls, handstands, flips, cartwheels, and other acrobatic movements.Continuously update the curriculum based on new techniques, trends, and student feedback.Teach tumbling classes, guiding students through proper techniques for various tumbling skills, ensuring correct form to prevent injury.Demonstrate exercises and routines, offering hands-on guidance and corrections during training sessions.Minimum Qualifications:Strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve a diverse community.Experience working with children or youth in a sports or fitness environment.In-depth knowledge of tumbling techniques, acrobatic movements, and safety practices.Understanding of strength, flexibility, and conditioning exercises related to tumbling.Preferred Qualification:Bi-LingualExperience in teaching tumbling or gymnastics (1-3 years preferred).The YMCA of Delaware is an equal opportunity employer.
