The Marketing Communications Specialist will partner closely with product management, sales, and marketing to deliver impactful digital campaigns, content, events, and lead-generation programs that drive awareness and customer engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Communications & MessagingSupport development and execution of external messaging and positioning.Translate technical concepts and product capabilities into clear, customer-focused marketing content.Ensure messaging consistency across digital channels, campaigns, and events.Digital Marketing & Campaign ExecutionExecute day-to-day digital marketing activities, including:Website content updates and SEO optimizationEmail and digital campaign deploymentSocial media campaigns and analyticsLead-nurture programs and marketing automation workflowsCRM input, cleanup, lead tracking and reportingSupport lead-generation initiatives aligned with sales and business priorities.Track and report on campaign performance, supporting continuous improvement.Content DevelopmentCreate and maintain marketing content, including:Website and product pagesBlogs, application notes, and case studiesSales and event collateralCoordinate with product management, engineering, and applications teams to ensure technical accuracy and relevance.Events & Trade ShowsSupport planning and execution of trade shows, industry conferences, and customer events.Develop supporting materials and pre-/post-event digital campaigns to maximize visibility and lead capture.MultimediaManaging MarCom plan to execute activities on time and at a high level of qualityOversee product and customer-testimonial photoshoots and video creation, from planning through delivery of final assetsProject ManagementCreate and maintain graphics, videos, gifs, etc. for digital and print product promotionsAnalyze campaign performance and recommend improvementsResearchGather prospect intelligence and subsequent outreachGather data on competitors and industry trends to support marketing strategiesCross-Functional SupportCollaborate with product management, sales, and corporate marketing to align daily execution with broader business and marketing strategies.Help support marketing efforts across multiple brands and product lines in a growing, multi-portfolio environment.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.1+ years of experience in marketing communications, digital marketing, or demand generation, preferably in B2B science and technology marketing, including optics, aerospace, aviation, or general high-tech.Strong writing and content development skills, with experience supporting technical or complex products.Working knowledge of:SEO and website content management, preferably WordPressEmail marketing and digital campaignsMarketing automation and CRM tools, preferably Pardot, Salesforce.com, Oracle SalesCloudReporting tools and analyticsExperience with Adobe Creative Cloud suite.Experience with video creation and editing a plus.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.PreferredExperience in industrial metrology, precision manufacturing and semiconductor equipment.Familiarity working with global teams and supporting multiple product lines.Comfortable working in a hands-on, execution-focused role within a fast-paced environment.Why Join Onto Innovation?At Onto Innovation, we believe your work should matter-and so should your well-being.
