Adams Early Childhood Center Date Available: 07/06/2026 Closing Date: 05/08/2026 Health Technician - Summer Screening This position does not constitute full-time employment with District 189 for the school year. This is a seasonal position only. Reports To : Summer Screening Principal and Director of Parent & Student Support Services Overall Objective: To assist the Vivian Adams Early Childhood Center in the provision of school health services and to be part of a coordinated health program so that students may achieve their optimal potential Qualifications: Licensed issued by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulations as either: Licensed Practical Nurse Registered Professional Nurse Duties and Responsibilities: Provide health screenings such as vision, hearing and lice checks as directed and required by law. Maintaining and updating Health Records Reviewing medical records and complete health histories on students referred for special education evaluations. Assist with health related activities that will help ensure the safety of students and staff.
