Travel Speech Therapist - Rehab

American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification and Missouri licensure for a flexible weekday rehab role in a long-term care setting.Job Details• Position is located in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility with a focus on rehabilitation,• Monday through Friday work schedule with 8-hour days and flexible start times between 6AM and 10AM, consistent and communicated with DOR,• No weekend work required unless making up hours due to a holiday during the week,• No on-call responsibilities,Job Requirements• Active Missouri SLP license required if applicable,• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP),• At least 1 year of experience as an SLP required,• Experience in a long-term care or rehab setting required,• New graduates accepted only if they have Level II experience beyond observation,• One professional reference required for consideration,Additional Information• Responsible for screening, evaluating, and rehabilitating patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders,• Utilizes standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to guide interventions and treatment plans,• Documents all services and patient progress in the electronic documentation system according to regulatory requirements,• Adjusts treatments based on patient progress, communicates changes to health team members, and provides comprehensive discharge summaries,• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers,• May supervise and support CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists,• Adheres to ASHA and state practice acts, codes of conduct, and ethical standards,• Participation in required facility and company trainings, meetings, and conferences is expected,
