Wright Implement was established in 1936 on a farm in Harned, KY, and has expanded to 15 locations throughout Kentucky and southern Indiana. Wright Implement is searching for a precision ag consultant to provide services, expertise, and training for the sale and support of solutions enabled by the John Deere Precision Ag strategy and other aligned technology and applications. Ensures ongoing Precision Ag mainstreaming and works with all dealership departments to sell and support precision farming products and services.
Purpose
Provide internal and customer support for precision ag products. Responsible for monitoring incoming customer and dealer personnel calls with the intent of quickly addressing questions and precision ag equipment problems to minimize machine, technology or digital solution downtime.
Responsibilities
Monitor incoming calls to the Wright Implement precision line and quickly and accurately resolve common precision ag equipment applications issues
Develop strong relationships with appropriate individuals in dealer internal departments for customer precision ag escalation as needed
Develop and implement precision ag training for all company departments
Monitor precision ag requests in Anvil and complete in timely manner in respected region
Develop, implement and manage test farms agronomic and machine data
Serves as the internal and external technical specialist for new precision farming products
Provide in field customer support in precision ag products with respect to repair and installation, also provide in field startups of planting, spraying and harvesting applications
Leverage Operations Center and connected apps to review and edit customer data
Abide by company data privacy policies
Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources with commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
May work flexible hours, including evenings and some weekends
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge
2+ years’ experience in an agriculture-related role
Dealership Service or Integrated Solutions or other related work experience preferred
Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications
Experience meeting or exceeding customer service expectations
Experience analyzing and interpreting data and reports
Ability to operate with a solutions approach and identify existing/emerging customer needs
Ability to manage a fast-paced environment
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required; Associate degree preferred
