Slitting Machine Operator
About the Role
We are seeking dedicated Slitting Machine Operators for our Cary facility, with immediate availability on both first and second shifts.
Candidate Prerequisites
Possession of a GED or High School Diploma is considered an asset.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Candidates need at least one year of experience in machine operation, specifically involving setups, changeovers, and troubleshooting, or equivalent hands-on experience with complex automotive mechanical repairs like engine or transmission work.
You must be capable of accurately reading measurements down to 1/16th of an inch using a standard ruler, which will be verified via a pre-employment assessment.
Help maintain a safe and efficient floor by being physically capable of lifting up to 65 lbs and maneuvering heavy material rolls using provided equipment, while comfortably performing tasks that require squatting, bending, and kneeling in an environment that may involve exposure to industrial chemicals.
Prior exposure to ISO standards within a manufacturing or industrial setting is an advantage.
Experience in pharmaceutical, packaging, or lamination sectors is helpful but not mandatory, as we provide comprehensive training.
Compensation and Schedule
Pay ranges from $20 to $22 per hour, determined by your specific experience level and assigned shift.
The first shift operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
The second shift operates Monday through Friday from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm.
This role is based in Cary, IL.

The Slitting Machine Operator is responsible for processing material to facilitate operations within the pouch, lamination, and press departments, as well as supporting our roll stock business for customers.
