You must be comfortable negotiating with suppliers, managing multiple open POs, and partnering cross-functionally to keep production running.ResponsibilitiesSource, evaluate, and select suppliers on quality, cost, and deliveryNegotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to drive cost savingsIssue POs and manage order confirmationsMonitor supplier performance and resolve quality, delivery, or pricing issuesMaintain inventory levels aligned with production schedulesPartner with production, engineering, quality, and financeConduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or equivalent experience3+ years of purchasing experience in manufacturing2+ Years of Production Planning experience Required SkillsStrong negotiation and analytical skillsERP/MRP system experienceAbility to interpret technical drawings and specifications (preferred)Excellent written and verbal communicationStrong organizational skills and attention to detail
