MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Combat Systems Program Analyst to join our team working in the Washington D.C. Navy Yard. This is a 100% onsite position.In this role, you will Support the Systems Engineering Manager overseeing Navy Type / Navy Owned (NT/NO) Combat Systems installed on USCG Cutters.Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToProviding support to the SE APM by preparing for the delivery of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Government Furnished Information (GFI - technical manuals, test procedures, and shipboard drawings) on USCG CuttersEnsuring the SE APM stays organized with the latest development, test, certification, and deployment status of Aegis BaselinesUnderstanding new construction and modernization efforts and concepts related to the development of combat system baselines, including short-term and long-term HW and SW developmentResearch program issues and coordinate with stakeholders on issue resolution; track and report milestones and program shortfalls or risksParticipate in program management reviews; prepare and coordinate precise meeting minutes, and gather inputs for status reports, briefings and information inquiries / requests for information (RFIs)Assists the SE APM with developing Technical Instructions(TIs)/Statements of Work (SOWs), and with preparing POM issues, budget cycle data calls, TPS/Spend plan recommendations, etc.Travel up to 25%Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent education5+ years of program analysis or systems engineering experience in support of a US Navy or USCG technical team and/or experience in technical roles onboard US Navy AEGIS Destroyers/Cruisers or USCG CuttersExperience with US Navy or USCG combat systemsFamiliarity with DoD/DON Policies and Procedures related to systems engineering processes and acquisition and modernization of Navy or USCG combat systems.Preferred QualificationsBachelors degree in an engineering or technical disciplineExperience related to the identification and analysis of complex systems engineering issues involving New Construction and modernization efforts for the US Navy AEGIS Fleet or USCG CuttersExperience in a technical role aboard US Navy AEGIS Destroyers/Cruisers or USCG CuttersClearance RequirementsMust be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current or active Secret security clearance.Physical RequirementsMust be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of the time.Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information
