These concern your background, overall health and other standards set by the Air Force, Department of Defense and federal law.Bachelor's degree in nursing from a school accredited by the BSN programPossess a valid U.S. or U.S. territory registered nurse licenseMinimum of one-year clinical experience in acute care nursingSuccessfully complete a flying class medical examinationUnderstand the principles of drug therapy and the effects of altitudeBe accepted by the medical unit commander and Air Force Reserve Surgeon GeneralCompletion of Commissioned Officer training courseMust be between the ages of 18 and have not reached your 47th birthday
