Every day, we work at scale: protecting over 3 million users and processing 1.5 trillion content objects.We are seeking an experienced deployment engineer to support our expansion into new customer locations and managed data centers. This role requires strong project management experience, expertise in enterprise networking and Linux systems administration, along with solid customer-facing communication skills and a willingness to travel.This position requires approximately 25% travel in the US and occasional travel to our corporate office in Bowie, MD. There may be an opportunity for very limited international travel.Due to federal contract requirements, only US citizens will be considered for hire.How We Work:Strategic Autonomy: We hire self-starters and give them the space to innovate. We value professionalism, technical clarity, and the ability to build trust through competence and execution.Remote Excellence: Enjoy the flexibility of a 100% remote role while collaborating with a high-caliber team that values technical integrity above all else.What You’ll Do:Lead Hardware Deployments: Serve as the technical lead for onsite and remote deployments of new hardware into data centers and customer environments across the United States and internationally.Infrastructure and Capacity Planning: Collaborate with data center providers to define power allocations, cooling requirements, and rack layouts optimised for scalability and efficiency.Supply Chain and Order Management: Manage the procurement lifecycle for deployment assets, starting with placing orders, tracking serials and inventory, and monitoring delivery timelines to ensure timely deployments.Execution and Site Coordination: Work with internal resources, data center vendors, and remote “smart hands” personnel as needed to organize, plan, and coordinate physical installations, cabling, and provisioning of systems.Represent Trinity Cyber: Act as a trusted technical advisor during customer engagements while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and communication.Core Requirements:5+ years of experience deploying and supporting enterprise infrastructure environmentsExperience designing rack layouts and developing cabling plansAbility to independently lead technical deployment activitiesExperience tracking hardware orders and arranging shipping between data centersHands on experience racking and cabling hardware in production data centersExperience working in customer-facing consulting, deployment, or field engineering rolesExperience supporting deployments in regulated or government environmentsExperience supporting sustainment activities (hardware monitoring, RMAs, coordinating planned outages, etc)Experience with Linux systems administration in production environmentsExperience configuring and troubleshooting firewalls, VPNs, and network security technologiesExperience troubleshooting Linux systems, networking, and other operational issuesFamiliarity with automation and configuration management frameworksExposure to cybersecurity operations or network security platformsExperience with Bash, Python, or similar scripting languagesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsWillingness and ability to travel regularly, including possible international travelWhy Join Us?You’ll be given the keys to a complex, high-speed environment where your work has immediate, tangible results.
