Our Officers are responsible for providing professional customer-focused security and life safety services for the people and the property they protect.Access Control Freight Elevator position. This post ensures proper access to tenants & contractors to their specific floors. This is a standing position (no chair provided). Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAccess Control Freight Elevator position. This post ensures proper access to tenants & contractors to their specific floors. This is a standing position (no chair provided).Communicate with tenants and contractors to ensure proper access Ensure equipment does not damage elevator doors or inside cartMaintain a professional demeanor, aiding customers, employees, visitors, and guestsMaintain a visible presence in the facility / building assignedMonitor the environment, with the ability to detect suspicious and unsafe activityResponsible for becoming familiar with incoming and outgoing traffic, know the customers, tenants, visitors, and guestsGreet customers, visitors, staff, tenants, guests in a professional manner alwaysAnswer all phones in a professional mannerPermit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exitsKnow the facility / building policies and procedures; enforce them within the limits of the positionPerform required patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicleObserve departing personnel to protect against the theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate customer requirementsFollow established emergency action planning and proceduresMonitor alarms and systemsTest and inspect fire extinguishers and other fire protection devices to ensure complianceThe essential duties and responsibilities may differ by customer location assignedKnowledge and Skill RequirementsMinimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalentMust have reliable means of communication and transportationStrong interpersonal communication skills and neat and professional appearance Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service environmentWrite routine correspondence, to include log entries and incident reportingProficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
