Hiring: Software Engineer II – Austin, TX (Onsite) 🚨We are actively hiring 3 Software Engineer II professionals for the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA).📍 Location: Austin, TX (100% Onsite)🕒 Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM📅 Start Date: 09/01/2026📅 End Date: 11/13/2026⏳ Duration: Approximately 416 hours💼 Employment Type: Full-TimeResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, debug, and document complex web-based and client/server applications.Develop front-end and back-end applications using C#, .NET, Blazor, SQL Server, Oracle, HTML5, and CSS.Collaborate with business teams, architects, and system analysts to gather and validate requirements.Perform root cause analysis and resolve application issues.Support and maintain existing applications while implementing enhancements.Develop secure, high-performance mobile applications using Visual Studio, .NET Core 9.0, and DevExpress tools.Work within Agile development environments and participate in all phases of the SDLC.Required Skills✅ 4+ years of experience in web application development✅ Strong experience with:C#.NETASP.NETHTML/HTML5CSSJavaScriptSQLOracleStored ProceduresSQL Server✅ 3+ years of Agile SDLC experience✅ Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools✅ Experience gathering business requirements and presenting solutions✅ Experience with C# .NET BlazorPreferred Skills⭐ Experience migrating applications from Java or Windows Forms to Blazor⭐ Experience implementing responsive web design practices⭐ Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards⭐ Previous experience working with Texas Department of Agriculture systems⚠️ Important: Candidates must be local to the Austin, Texas area.
