Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. This position is essential in ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, allowing our chefs and food service staff to focus on delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning methods. Operate dishwashing machines and ensure they are functioning properly. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, counters, and equipment. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff. Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes in dining areas. Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in regular cleaning schedules for kitchen equipment and storage areas. Skills Experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred; familiarity with restaurant or hotel operations is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of hygiene. Good teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial but not required. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed within the culinary team.
