This position integrates instructional coaching, targeted student intervention, and mentorship of new teachers to support a collaborative and effective learning environment.Key ResponsibilitiesInstructional CoachingCollaborate with teachers to design and implement effective, standards-aligned math instruction.Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive, actionable feedback.Lead professional development sessions on best practices in math instruction, curriculum alignment, and assessment.Support teachers in analyzing student data to inform instruction and improve outcomes.Student InterventionIdentify students in need of additional support using assessment data.Develop and implement targeted math intervention plans.Provide small group and/or individualized instruction to strengthen foundational skills.Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to ensure effectiveness. Teacher MentorshipSupport and mentor new teachers to build confidence and instructional effectiveness.Assist with onboarding, including providing resources and establishing support systems.Facilitate regular mentoring meetings to address challenges, share strategies, and celebrate successes. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).Valid teaching certification in Mathematics.Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience, preferably in math instruction.Strong knowledge of current instructional practices, curriculum standards, and assessment methods.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
