Data Engineer
Job Duties Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and continuously improve scalable data-driven software solutions that support customer and business needs.Build and maintain data aggregation, integration, and transformation pipelines across multiple enterprise data sources.Develop solutions leveraging large-scale data platforms including Snowflake, Oracle, and cloud-based data services.Create and maintain APIs, services, and applications that enable seamless data access and integration across systems.Support AI-powered and automation initiatives by preparing, integrating, and optimizing data for analytics, machine learning, and conversational AI solutions.Partner with product management, architects, and engineering leadership to deliver scalable cloud-based solutions addressing healthcare and business challenges.Contribute to cloud infrastructure and modernization initiatives utilizing AWS and/or GCP technologies.Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to support deployment automation and environment management.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data integration strategies for enterprise platforms and applications.Support development of agent-based user interfaces and conversational experiences to improve customer and operational workflows.Ensure adherence to security, governance, monitoring, and operational best practices across data and application environments.Mentor team members on cloud technologies, data engineering best practices, and modern integration patterns.Exercise independent judgment to prioritize, plan, and manage technical initiatives and project deliverables.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.6+ years of software engineering, data engineering, or application development experience.4+ years of experience building and maintaining large-scale data integration, aggregation, and transformation solutions.Strong experience working with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, Oracle, or similar large-scale data environments.Experience designing and developing APIs, web services, and system integrations.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform.Strong programming experience in Python and/or Java.4+ years of experience deploying and supporting solutions in cloud environments (AWS preferred, GCP exposure highly desirable).Experience supporting data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and enterprise data architecture.Strong knowledge of security, access controls, logging, monitoring, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and production operations.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Snowflake data warehousing and cloud-native data platforms.Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Experience building agent-based UI experiences, conversational applications, or AI-enabled business solutions.Healthcare industry and/or contact center technology experience.Experience supporting customer service, provider operations, or healthcare data environments.Full-stack engineering experience.Familiarity with AI/ML applications, data preparation, and analytics workflows.Brooksource provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, citizenship, disability, genetic information, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, amnesty or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
