In addition, it is also responsible for encouraging repeat purchases and brand loyalty by adding value to transactions, providing the right solutions alongside excellent customer service. The purpose of this role is to build and maintain relationships with customers to make sales and increase profitabilityMain ResponsibilitiesEncourage repeat purchases and brand loyalty by adding value to transactions, providing the right solutions alongside excellent customerservice.Responding to questions and queries both internally and from our customers (telephone, email, video calling, face to facePreparing quotations – Liaising with external teams, technical teams and commercial management where requiredProactive quotation follow-up callsNegotiating with customers to secure orders.Liaising with other departments pre and post-sale (including finance, operations technical and designKey Competencies & Relevant ExperienceAn enthusiastic person with a can do attitude able to work on own initiative.Excellent communication skills.Methodical, organized with ability to prioritize.Computer literateAccurate with good attention to detail.Able to manage and respond to multiple issues at once whilst meeting deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDesirable skills and attributes:Experience of working in a construction or manufacturing business.Proven track record of account management and converting quotes to orders.Able to read and understand drawings.Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties And Functions)The Position will be responsible various administrative dutiesAnswer telephone, screen and direct callsTake and relay messagesProvide information to callersGreet persons entering organizationDirect persons to correct destinationDeal with queries from the public and customersEnsure knowledge of staff movements in and out of organizationMonitor visitor access and maintain security awarenessProvide general administrative and clerical supportReceive and sort mail and deliveriesSchedule appointmentsOrganize conference and meeting room bookingsCo-ordinate meetings and organize cateringMonitor and maintain office equipmentControl inventory relevant to reception areaTidy and maintain the reception areaPerform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Education/ExperienceHigh school diploma generally requiredKnowledge of administrative and clerical proceduresKnowledge of computers and relevant software applicationKnowledge of customer service principles and practicesMust have excellent alpha/numeric data entry skills.Able to read and/ or follow written and verbal instructions and implement the same.Knowledge/Skill RequirementsExcellent computer skills using MS Office (Word and Excel), e-mail and an attitude for learning new software.Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.High ethical standardsExcellent communication skills (both oral and written).Excellent computer skillsAbility to meet individual deadlines, as well as work collaboratively with team to help them meet deadlines.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Able to communicate with others by telephone and in person.Able to utilize a computer for word processing, e-mail communication, and preparation of documents and presentations.May require sitting for extended periods of time.May require periodically lifting objects up to 30 lbs.Work EnvironmentNormal office work environment.The statements included in this job description are not intended to be all-inclusive.
