Summary Accounts for the Inventory Accuracy of the Stockroom and ensures the availability of production material for the assigned programs. Provides material to the appropriate departments as required. Inventories material from Receiving or that which may be returned from Production. Trains and mentors new employees to the function or retraining for incumbents. Responsibilities Fill material requests from all areas of production promptly. Monitor appropriate reports to ensure priority material is delivered to the correct location in a timely manner. Restock shelves with incoming material from various sources and locate the material in the computerized system. Ensure correct balances are maintained by performing cycle counts and thoroughly investigating any discrepancies found during cycle counting. Reconcile returned kits from the production floor, fully researching and documenting all discrepancies. Research and identify material‐related issues using all available inquiries within the computerized system. Provide assistance and direction to lower‐level employees. Monitor reports to ensure materials stored in the warehouse are ordered and in the appropriate location prior to production requirement. May oversee cycle‐count process, evaluate results, track and report inventory accuracy levels. Train warehouse coworkers in specific areas of expertise. All employees are responsible for the quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds customer satisfaction. May be required to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts. Other Information 5+ years of materials/warehouse experience; 3+ years of experience leading and training others in complex materials/warehouse tasks. Effective organization and prioritization skills. Effective interpersonal skills. Ability to mentor others. Proven ability to complete projects in a timely manner. Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment and professionalism when representing the company. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work well as an individual or on teams. Require little supervision for completion of tasks. Demonstrate ability to work effectively with suppliers or customers. Ability to work overtime as required. Understanding of and ability to use continuous improvement tools. Participate in a continuous improvement activity. This position is classified as safety‐sensitive because impairment while performing job duties could pose a significant risk of harm. Where permitted by applicable law or required by federal regulation, Benchmark will conduct a pre‐employment drug screen, which may include testing for THC. In jurisdictions that restrict pre‐employment cannabis testing or prohibit action based solely on non‐psychoactive cannabis metabolites, Benchmark will comply with local requirements. Benchmark maintains a drug‐ and alcohol‐free workplace and may conduct reasonable‐suspicion and post‐incident testing in accordance with applicable law.
