Responsible for teaching Spanish Immersion across St. Cloud Area Schools. Reports to Building Principals. Salary range: $49,141 - $90,362 per year, depending on education and experience.Job ResponsibilitiesInstructional Planning and Preparation: demonstrate knowledge of content, pedagogy, students, instructional goals, resources, and design coherent instruction.Classroom Management: create a respectful climate, establish a culture for learning, manage procedures, student behavior, and physical space.Instructional Interaction: communicate clearly, use questioning techniques, engage students, provide feedback, and demonstrate flexibility.Professional Responsibilities: reflect on teaching, maintain records, communicate with families, contribute to school and district, grow professionally, and show professionalism.QualificationsFluent in Spanish.Proficient in English.Bachelor's degree (required); advanced degrees preferred.Preferred related teaching experience.Energetic, enthusiastic, creative, with strong communication skills with parents, staff, and teachers.BenefitsComprehensive benefits for employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week: health, dental, vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) coverage, and long-term disability.
