Financial Controller

Job Description The Financial Controller will oversee all accounting and financial functions at Rx Valet, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This individual will play a critical leadership role in ensuring financial discipline, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive leader who is highly proficient in QuickBooks, understands complex revenue streams — including PBM, pharmacy, and alternative sourcing models — and can manage and develop a team of financial analysts. Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Operations & AccountingOversee all day-to-day accounting functions:Accounts Receivable (AR): invoicing, collections, reconciliation, and aging managementAccounts Payable (AP): vendor management, payment processing, and controlsEnsure accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processesMaintain and improve internal accounting policies, procedures, and controlsFinancial Reporting & AnalysisPrepare and deliver monthly financial statements, management reports, and variance analysesDevelop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models aligned with company growthAnalyze key business drivers including pharmacy spend and savings performance, client-level profitability, and revenue streams across PBM, DMP, and pharmacy operationsPartner with executive leadership to provide actionable financial insightsSystems & Process ManagementServe as the internal QuickBooks expert, ensuring optimal system utilization and data integrityIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance scalability and efficiencySupport integration of financial data across operational platformsTeam LeadershipManage and develop a team of approximately 5–6 financial analysts and accounting staffEstablish performance expectations, workflows, and accountability measuresFoster a culture of accuracy, responsiveness, and continuous improvementCompliance & GovernanceEnsure compliance with all applicable financial, tax, and regulatory requirements (GAAP)Support audits, reporting requirements, and external financial reviews as neededMaintain strong internal controls and risk management practicesCompany DescriptionRx Valet is a rapidly growing pharmacy benefit and cost-containment organization focused on delivering transparent, lowest-net-cost prescription solutions for self-insured employers.
