This individual will manage the bidding process, coordinate subcontractors, maintain project schedules and budgets, and ensure high-quality workmanship from start to finish.________________________________________Estimating & Pre-Construction ResponsibilitiesPerform accurate material take-offs and labor estimates for residential and commercial projectsSolicit, review, and analyze subcontractor bids for pricing and scope accuracyDevelop detailed project budgets and assist with client proposalsIdentify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions without sacrificing qualityReview architectural and structural plans to prepare accurate project estimates________________________________________Supervision & Field Operations ResponsibilitiesManage daily job site operations and maintain project schedules and budgetsSupervise direct employees and subcontractors while enforcing safety standardsCoordinate inspections, material deliveries, and workflow schedulingEnsure projects meet local building codes and company quality standardsMaintain communication with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders throughout construction________________________________________QualificationsMinimum 5 years of construction industry experienceAt least 2 years in estimating, supervision, or project management rolesStrong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plansExperience with estimating software and Microsoft Excel requiredFamiliarity with Kern County permitting and local subcontractor market preferredValid driver's license and reliable vehicle required________________________________________Preferred QualificationsExperience with commercial construction and tenant improvementsExperience with custom residential constructionBilingual in English and Spanish is a plusExperience managing small, high-efficiency teams________________________________________BenefitsCompetitive salary with performance-based incentivesOpportunity to grow with an expanding local companyHigh level of autonomy and involvement in decision-makingStreamlined reporting structure and leadership opportunities________________________________________Additional Information• Position may be offered through staffing or direct-hire placement depending on candidate qualifications and client needs
