Must have the ability and willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, holidays and to work a reasonable level of scheduled and unscheduled overtime.How You Can Be The ImpactSupporting our sheet coating operations by handling and loading product in our automated processPerform repetitive tasks in a consistent and reliable fashion, being very careful to minimize damage of our high-quality productsUtilize Powered Industrial equipment to move raw materials and finished product around the facilityContinually maintain a clean and safe work environmentSupport the coating process operators to optimize workflows and productivityDevelop process knowledge and familiaritySuccessful candidate will be required to obtain respirator certificationWhat Matters To PolyvantisHigh School Diploma, High School Job Readiness Certification or equivalent educational diplomaSix months of consistent work experience (Manufacturing or extrusion experience a plus)Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the positionSuccessful candidate must be able to perform some basic maintenance on equipment/toolsCompetenciesHigh safety and environmental awarenessWork well within an inclusive team environmentAbility to communicate with team and other individualsIdentifies opportunities for continuous improvementDemonstrates good interpersonal skills and professionalismTakes initiative and demonstrates the desire to learn and developIntermediate level skills in problem solving, trouble shooting, and analytical thinkingPhysical RequirementsLift/carry 55lbs, bend/stoop/twist, crouch, kneel, climb/balance, use vibrating tools, stand, and walk.Eligibility RequirementsYou must be 18 years or older.Applicants must be currently authorized to work for POLYVANTIS in the United States on a full-time basis.Work SchedulePosition will initially work a 5 day (M-F), 8-hr schedule with evenings or midnights likelyEventual Rotating Shift Start Times are: 7:40 am, 3:40 pm, & 11:40 pmRole may convert to a rotating 8 hr, 24/7 scheduleStarting Pay DetailsHourly Rate: $23Shift Premium(if applicable): 15% (eve/mids/weekends)We are proud to be a diverse and an equal opportunity employer.
