Join our team and help us make A Better Pop, for a Better World.What You Will Do:The Maintenance Technician is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the operation of all plant systems and equipment. Including but not limited to conveyor belts, gearboxes, electrical motors, pulleys, shafts, bearings, packaging equipment and freezers. This position must respond to all system failures by taking appropriate corrective action by completing or assigning the repairs needed to ensure that systems are operational and are functioning safely and efficiently.This position generally reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.Responsibilities:Performs preventive maintenance inspection (PM); diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment/components including but not limited to conveyors, pumps, mixers, gearboxes, electrical motors, pulleys, shafts, bearings, packaging equipment, freezers, compressors and building equipmentEstablishes and adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules and advises Maintenance Supervisor if additional work is needed or cannot be completed within the Standard Repair Times (SRTs)Ability to multi-task and manage multiple prioritiesPerforms service calls for emergency breakdownsAbility to perform under limited supervisionRequires a flexible work schedule, which may include nights and weekends to support operating schedule and the needs of the facilityMaintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards and performs all work in accordance with established safety proceduresInstalls, adjusts and repairs packaging equipment to obtain the best performance according to our specificationsOverhauls and maintains equipment during both production and non-production periodsTroubleshoots and analyses problems with machines and systemsFood Safety ResponsibilitiesFollowing GMPs when performing repairs and maintenance activities in production and storage areas, including the proper use of GMP apparelFollow guidelines when performing maintenance on food contact surfaces, including using food grade lubricantsFollow guidelines to tag equipment after performing maintenance, to ensure proper cleaning and sanitationRequirements:The ideal candidate for this role will have 2 years of experience working with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic repairs on industrial food manufacturing equipmentStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsDetail orientatedAbility to lift 50 lbsProficient in welding and fabrication is a plusHave knowledge of single and three phase electrical systemsHave knowledge of electrical control systemsCertificates, Licenses, Registrations Or Other RequirementsMust be at least 18 years of ageLegally eligible to work in the United StatesAbility to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodationsOther Knowledge, Skills Or Abilities RequiredSafely operates tools and equipment needed during the repair and servicing of equipmentJob Type: Full-timePay: From $30.00-$35.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:10 hour shift8 hour shiftExperience:Mechanical repairs on industrial food manufacturing: 2 years (Required)Shift availability:Day ShiftWeekendsJonnyPops offers a competitive benefits package which includes the following:Medical/Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance HSA FSA DCFSA Life & AD&D Insurance Short & Long Term Disability FTO/PTO EAP Programs Paid Holidays Employee Referral Program Sick & Safe Leave 401k Company Sponsored Meal Plan Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses and/or commissionsPowered by JazzHRxQalRE2Biz
