This position leads all project phases, including scheduling, coordination, budgeting, client relations, and risk management. The Project Manager serves as the key liaison between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.Project Leadership and PlanningReview bid documents, drawings, and specifications to identify project scope, risks, and unique requirementsAssemble and lead the internal project team, coordinating with engineering, drafting, production, field, and quality control departmentsConduct project kickoff meetings and communicate goals, schedules, and deliverables clearly across all stakeholdersDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules with defined milestones and critical pathsContract and Change ManagementManage contracts from award through execution and ensure compliance with all terms and conditionsNegotiate subcontracts, evaluate proposals, and track commitmentsPrepare and administer change orders, ensuring proper documentation and approvalsIdentify and communicate potential risks, exposure, and cost impacts in a timely mannerFinancial Management and ReportingAssist the Contract Administrator with monthly billings and project cash flowReview and approve project schedule of values, ensuring accuracy in invoicing and retention trackingMonitor project costs, budgets, and profitability throughout the project lifecycleProvide weekly progress and financial status reports to the Director of Project ManagementClient Relations and CommunicationServe as the primary point of contact for the customer throughout the projectBuild strong client relationships through proactive communication and consistent follow-upRepresent ATMI Precast professionally in meetings, site visits, and correspondenceResolve project issues and conflicts quickly and effectively to maintain customer satisfactionProject Execution and CloseoutOversee field activities and coordinate installation schedules with contractors and erection crewsManage punch lists and project closeout documentationConduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and process improvementsEnsure timely collection of retainage and outstanding balances RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field5–10 years of experience in commercial construction project management (precast or concrete preferred)Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong understanding of contracts, submittals, drawings, and change management processesExcellent computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam (experience with AutoCAD, Tekla, or Trimble products is a plus)Skills And CompetenciesStrong leadership and decision-making abilitiesExcellent organizational and time management skillsClear and confident communication, both written and verbalAbility to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple prioritiesCollaborative and adaptable team playerPhysical Requirements And Work EnvironmentMust be able to spend time in both office and field environments (approximately 50/50)Must be able to occasionally lift and move objects up to 50 lbsMay be required to work outdoors in variable conditions including heat, humidity, and dustOccasional travel within 150 miles of Aurora, ILAdditional InformationMust be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipValid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
