On‐Call Locksmith – Residential and CommercialJob Type:Part‐time / On‐CallPay:$35 per hour + $60 trip chargeWe are seeking an experienced and reliable On‐Call Locksmith to support after‐hours, weekend, and emergency service requests. This role includes residential, commercial, and safe‐related work. Ideal candidates are dependable, professional, and able to respond quickly to service calls.ResponsibilitiesRespond to emergency lockouts (residential, commercial, vehicle) during on‐call hoursRekey, repair, install, and replace locks, cylinders, deadbolts, and door hardwareDiagnose and resolve door alignment, latch, and access issuesCut and duplicate keys on-siteProvide security recommendations and lock system upgradesPerform safe services , including: Safe lockouts (mechanical and digital)Combination changesBasic safe drilling and manipulationSafe lock replacementsBoltwork troubleshootingMaintain accurate job notes, materials used, and time trackingCommunicate clearly with dispatch regarding arrival times and job statusFollow all safety, access, and property protection proceduresRequirementsProven locksmith experience (safe experience preferred but not required)Ability to work independently and solve mechanical issues quicklyValid driver's license and clean driving recordAbility to lift 40–50 lbs and work in various weather conditionsStrong customer service and communication skillsMust pass background checkAvailabilityNights, weekends, and holidays as assignedMust be able to respond within 30–60 minutes depending on coverage areaMust notify dispatch immediately if unavailable during assigned on‐call periodsPreferred QualificationsExperience with commercial hardware (panic bars, closers, storefront doors)Familiarity with master key systemsSafe technician training (SAVTA, ALOA, or equivalent)Basic knowledge of electronic access systemsPowered by JazzHR
