Applicants with expertise that matches course scheduling needs will be contacted for an interview for availability for Winter Quarter 2026 and/or Spring Quarter 2026.Opportunities are usually Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, 2 times per week for the 10-week quarter for two 90-minute sessions usually meeting 10:10-11:40 a.m., 11:50-1:20, or 1:30-3 p.m. in the Loop. (Winter Quarter is January-March, Spring Quarter is March-June.)DePaul is specifically interested in candidates who may be a good match for the following types of courses:JOUR 368 Sports ReportingSPRTCMN 322 Live Sports Event ProductionSPRTCMN 324 Sports Media Personal BrandingSPRTCMN 327 Sports Stats & AnalyticsSPRTCMN 328 Sports Social MediaSPRTCMN 329 Sports Audio ProductionSPRTCMN 396 Sports Communication Capstone (project & portfolio)QualificationsMaster's degree or bachelor's degree plus significant experience (5 years) in sports media desired.The candidate must have demonstrated professional experience and success in the sports industry, plus experience mentoring young journalists or media workers on project work based with constructive feedback. Classes in Autumn, Winter, and Spring quarters are 11 weeks in length (including finals week) and Summer courses, in two sessions, are typically 5 weeks in length. The College of Law operates on the semester system.
