When you see one of our towing and recovery vehicles rolling down the road, you’ll feel pride for the work you’re a part of.SummaryThis on-site, paid internship is located in Hermitage, PA, offering hands-on experience and will support the operations team in analyzing, improving, and documenting manufacturing processes. This position will provide input in process optimization, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesAssist with evaluating existing production processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities Support data collection, analysis, and reporting related to process performance (scrap, cycle time, throughput, downtime, etc.) Participate in continuous improvement projects (Inventory Accuracy, Quality Programs, Process Flow Projects) Help develop and update process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures Participate in weekly quality meetings Create process flow diagrams, charts, and other materials to assist with manufacturing processes Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams Observe and support manufacturing floor activities to gain practical experience Perform other related tasks and projects as assigned by General Manager Other duties may be assigned.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Process, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical) preferred, or related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering principles Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Willingness to learn and take initiative Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, and observe operations on the manufacturing floor. Ability to lift up to [30] pounds as required.
