Physician Gastroenterology - Competitive Salary

Job Description:Seeking BE/BC Gastroenterologists to join team in beautiful Holland, MI on Michigan's west coast, just SW of Grand Rapids. Live and work in one of the most gorgeous areas of the US with one of the few remaining truly independent hospitals left in Michigan.Team: 2 Physicians and 3 PAs, with plan to hire 2 more MD/DOs to be fully staffedMinimal outpatient office work (2 days per month on average) with about 12 patients per day on outpatient daysRole is mostly endoscopy and in-patient roundingERCP possible if there is interestVolume: inpatient - 6-10 that PAs help with and 10-15 endoscopies a day. Hospital does roughly 6000 endoscopies a year.Call: 1:6 weeks with PAs on office call with physicians as backup. Additional pay is given if do more than 7 days a call a month.Top notch efficient anesthesia team - endoscopy procedures supported by exclusive anesthesia teamReflux program with dedicated RN navigatorCapsule endoscopy done in officeASGE certified endoscopy reflux centerEMR: Cerner in hospital and eClinicalWorks in office, with a planned transition to Epic coming.
