Responsibilities Prepare and assemble ingredients for cooking and food presentation, ensuring quality and freshness. Assist with food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to uphold food safety standards. Support cooks and chefs during meal preparation, including chopping, mixing, seasoning, and plating dishes. Execute basic cooking tasks such as operating grills, ovens, and stovetops to prepare menu items under chef direction. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts. Bus tables and clear dishes promptly to ensure smooth service flow. Follow proper food safety protocols and hygiene practices at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and excellent guest experiences. Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and food handling safety. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail. Basic cooking skills with an understanding of culinary procedures. Customer service orientation with a friendly, positive attitude towards guests and colleagues.
