Apply via Dice today!Job Title:Infrastructure Engineer II (Azure & Enterprise Systems)Job Overview:This role is responsible for building and operating IT hardware and software resources across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments to support internal business needs. The position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining complex infrastructure solutions, ensuring system performance, scalability, and security.Key Responsibilities:Design, operate, and maintain enterprise servers, including mainframe systems, high-performance computing systems, and hybrid/cloud environmentsResearch, design, implement, and maintain complex infrastructure solutions such as data warehouses, identity access management, and containerized environmentsConfigure and manage secure virtualized environments, including virtual machines, networks, and distributed storage systemsDevelop and utilize monitoring solutions to ensure system performance, efficiency, and securityMonitor CPU, memory, storage, and network usage to optimize resource utilization and control costsIdentify and resolve system bottlenecks and plan for future capacity requirementsConfigure diagnostic settings and route logs to monitoring platforms; develop queries, alerts, and dashboards for proactive monitoringBuild dashboards and reporting solutions to provide insights into system compliance, deployments, and performancePerform large-scale device and system analysis using query tools to support troubleshooting and optimizationImplement and track update compliance and system health metricsEnable and optimize analytics solutions to improve system performance and reduce operational issuesDevelop and manage secure automation workflows using cloud-based tools and APIsManage application registrations and access controls for secure integrationsDesign and maintain serverless workflows to automate business processesGovern monitoring and analytics environments, including access control and data retentionImplement device compliance and access policies to secure enterprise systemsCreate documentation, runbooks, and templates; provide guidance and support to team membersRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree4+ years of experience in IT3+ years of development experience with at least one coding language or frameworkExperience with Microsoft AzureAdditional Information:Data analysis using Azure Monitor and Azure LogsStrong PowerShell expertiseGraphical queries and log analyticsUnderstanding Azure subscriptions and related environments/toolsData capture and analysis across large fleets of managed devicesProactive monitoring and issue management
