Security Guard

Part-Time Security Guard – Swing Shift *Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays | 2:00 PM–10:00 PM* *This is a part-time position with opportunities to pick up additional hours and shifts when available.* We are seeking a dependable and professional Security Guard to join our team. This position is responsible for helping maintain a safe and secure environment for our client, employees, and visitors. We are looking for someone who is reliable, observant, comfortable working independently, and able to handle situations calmly and professionally. Responsibilities * Patrol assigned areas and monitor the property for suspicious activity, safety concerns, or unauthorized individuals. * Monitor CCTV and other security systems as needed. * Respond to alarms, incidents, and calls for assistance. * Enforce site rules and policies in a professional and respectful manner. * Help de-escalate conflicts and handle difficult situations appropriately. * Conduct routine checks of buildings, grounds, doors, and other areas of the property. * Document incidents and daily activity through clear and accurate reports. * Contact management, emergency services, or law enforcement when necessary. * Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and members of the public. Qualifications * Must be dependable and able to consistently work the scheduled shifts. * Strong communication and observational skills. * Ability to remain calm and make good decisions during stressful situations. * Comfortable working independently. * Basic computer and report-writing skills. * Security, military, or law enforcement experience is helpful but not required. * CPR and First Aid certification is preferred but not required. * Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods as needed.
