Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient snow removal operations during winter weather conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Snow Plow Operator will also assist with landscape maintenance tasks during off-season periods, contributing to the overall upkeep of our properties. Responsibilities Operate snow plow equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and walkways of snow and ice. Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to changing weather patterns. Perform routine maintenance checks on snow removal equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts effectively. Maintain clear communication with supervisors regarding operational status and any issues encountered. Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, tree care, irrigation, and general upkeep during non-winter months. Utilize hand tools for tasks including tree trimming, digging, and other landscape maintenance activities as needed. Experience Previous experience operating snow plow equipment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including lawn care, irrigation systems, and tree care is a plus. Ability to work long hours in adverse weather conditions while maintaining a focus on safety. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to equipment operation are advantageous.
