Assistant Program Manager – Test & Evaluation (T&E)
Overview
In this role you support planning, coordinating, and reporting developmental and operational tests across the program lifecycle using NAVAIR procedures. You’ll align test activities with acquisition strategy, technical requirements, and government guidance while working with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to verify system performance before fielding. The position is on-site in Lexington Park, MD with travel, supporting mission-critical aviation programs. You’ll contribute to test planning, data analysis, and review processes that shape program success.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop TEMPs, test plans, procedures, and data requirements for DT/OT testingCoordinate with DT and OT agencies to align test strategy, schedules, and prioritiesEnsure test documentation and reporting comply with DoD and NAVAIR guidanceCreate and maintain integrated master schedules (IMS) for T&E activitiesCoordinate TRRs, test events, field activities, and resource planningSupport on-site test execution and liaison with test teams to resolve issuesCollect and analyze test data, support test reports, and track deficiencies with traceability to requirementsParticipate in program reviews and support analyses to refine test verification methodsProvide T&E inputs and status updates to stakeholders for acquisition milestones
Key requirementsU.S. Citizen with active Secret clearance and Top Secret eligibilityBachelor in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Program Management, or related field or equivalent experience10+ years supporting DoD/government acquisition programsExperience with developmental and/or operational testing (DT/OT) and test planning/execution/reportingPrior experience with NAVAIR aviation programs and procedures/policycollaboration with cross-functional teamseffective communication with stakeholdersstrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesMS ProjectJiraDOORS
