A Radiation Therapist role is available on a contract basis at a healthcare facility located near Racine, WI. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with no weekend, holiday, or on-call responsibilities, providing a predictable and balanced workweek.The facility features two Linear Accelerators and treats an average of 20-45 adult cancer patients daily. Therapists will administer radiation treatments using Varian True Beam and Aria systems, requiring at least one year of experience with these technologies. This role supports adult patients with a 2:1 patient ratio and involves collaboration with lead therapists, other therapists, providers, leadership, and nursing staff.Qualifications and Desired Experience:Minimum one year of experience with Varian True Beam and AriaValid ARRT Radiation Therapy certificationCurrent BLS certificationExperience with Linear Accelerator treatmentsPreferred experience with DIBH and SBRT techniquesResponsibilities include:Administering safe and effective radiation therapy treatmentsUtilizing EMR systems (Aria) for patient care documentationCollaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomesParticipating in up to one week of orientation tailored to individual comfort levelsAdhering to dress code of solid-colored scrubsUtilizing free on-site parking for convenienceThis opportunity welcomes first-time travelers and does not require floating to other units.
