Summit Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Architect who is considered Key Personnel for a federal DoD proposal. In this role, you will provide subject matter expertise and technical support services for Customer Service Operations across multiple Customer Service Providers, encompassing off-premises, on-premises, hybrid, and tactical edge offerings. This position can be located in any of the following: Arlington, VA, Fort Meade, MD, Chambersburg, PA, Ogden, UT, or Oklahoma City, OK.A DoD Top Secret clearance is required to start the contract and must be maintained during the contract.ResponsibilitiesResearching CSO technical feasibility in alignment with DoD demand signals and emerging requirements.Providing technical oversight and analysis of cloud architecture design activities to ensure alignment with business objectives and security best practices.Analyzing DoD demand signals to inform strategic decision-making and technology roadmaps.Providing analysis on XaaS CSOs across multiple CSPs to include off-premises, on-premises, hybrid, and tactical edge offerings.Evaluating specifications against DoD security, compliance, and performance requirements.Briefing the user community on cloud adoption questions and providing technical information on XaaS specifications.Contributing to user community round tables regarding cloud adoptions and CSO implementations.Coordinating input preparation for the verification of CSP requirements into Government provided tool(s) and tracking mechanisms.Assessing other DoD contract capabilities and CSP deliverables related to DISA cloud contracts.Providing analysis on the utilization of the JWCC contract in relation to commercial trends and practices.Supporting technical exchange meetings with CSPs and Strategic Partners.Providing technical expertise on CSO capabilities in alignment with DoD governance requirements.Reviewing and providing analysis of CSP deliverables to assist the Government in validation that DoD requirements and standards are met.Required ExperienceRMF Expertise - NIST 800-37, Security Control 800-53, Vulnerability Assessment Analysis (ACAS, STIGs, SCAP, eMASS Package Review)EducationRelevant Bachelors Degree plus 11 years experience, OR 15 years total experience in Enterprise Cloud Architecture and Design.CertificationOne of the following certifications is Required: CISSP, CISA, CASP+, GSNA or GCSAIf you are qualified and want to be considered for this position, please supply the following to: hb1zqd9w9mw6yrgf5o194h936h@crelate.net and please put the job number ‘6930’ in the subject line:Updated resume including MM/YYYY for each employer.Best times/dates to interview (plus phone # you can best be contacted at).Availability to start once given formal offers.Summit Technologies Inc. appreciates your interest.
