Managing Director, Consulting Services (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Managing Director Consulting Services (remote) to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space. This role will lead continuous improvement work focused on process discipline, productivity, and measurable operating gains. You will work across field teams, functional leaders, and project stakeholders to identify bottlenecks, standardize best practices, and deliver measurable improvements. The position offers the opportunity to turn complex operational priorities into practical changes that improve performance at scale within a Education, Government & Non-Profit environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $225,000 – $275,000 annuallyResponsibilities Lead strategic planning to enhance consulting services in public sector Health and Human Services Develop and deploy consulting services for complex challenges in Medicaid and related domains Create go-to-market strategies for new service lines and partnerships Identify and pursue new public sector market opportunities beyond traditional domains Oversee business development efforts, including pipeline activities and growth targets Serve as an executive sponsor for key accounts to ensure client satisfaction and service delivery Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within consulting engagementsQualifications Bachelor's degree in public administration, IT, business, health policy, or equivalent experience 15+ years of leadership experience in public sector consulting, particularly in Health and Human Services Proven success in expanding consulting practices, launching service lines, and entering new markets Deep understanding of Medicaid and public assistance program operations in state and local government Advanced knowledge of IT and AI, with experience in digital transformation and data analyticsBenefits Flexible work-life balance with tailored support Comprehensive insurance plans including medical, dental, and vision Unlimited Time Off package with holidays and extended sick leave Tuition reimbursement for ongoing education and development Access to wellness programs and resources for physical, emotional, and financial healthOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
