Junior Full Stack Developer & Testing Analyst (JavaScript / AWS)About the Role CIQA Engineering is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Full Stack Developer & Testing Analyst to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate, coding bootcamp graduate, or entry-level developer looking to build a career in software development, cloud technologies, and quality assurance. You will work alongside experienced engineers to help design, develop, test, and validate a modern cloud-based collaborative application. Key Responsibilities Assist in the development of new application features using JavaScript for both frontend and backend environments. Support the integration and consumption of AWS services, APIs, and cloud-based databases. Design, execute, and document unit tests and integration tests to ensure software quality and stability. Participate in code reviews and agile team planning sessions. Identify, document, and troubleshoot software defects discovered during testing and validation activities. Collaborate with team members to improve application performance, reliability, and user experience. Contribute to software quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications: Education Recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. Graduates of intensive coding bootcamps are encouraged to apply. Equivalent hands-on experience through personal projects, internships, or freelance work will also be considered. Technical Skills: Software Development Working knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+). Basic experience with Node.js. Exposure to modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or similar is a plus. Databases Basic understanding of relational databases (SQL) and/or NoSQL databases. Cloud Computing (AWS) Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Exposure to services such as AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, DynamoDB, or EC2. Personal, academic, or internship projects utilizing AWS are highly valued. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification is a plus. Software Testing / QA Basic understanding of software testing principles. Interest in quality assurance and software validation. Exposure to testing tools such as Jest, Cypress, Mocha, or similar is preferred. Tools Basic experience using Git and GitHub/GitLab for version control. Desired Soft Skills Strong willingness and ability to learn quickly. Collaborative mindset and positive attitude toward teamwork. Effective communication skills and openness to constructive feedback. Strong attention to detail, especially when testing and validating software. Problem-solving mindset and initiative to research solutions independently.
