Licensed Vacancy Posting 26-27Date Posted: 2/25/2026Position: Music/Band Teacher - Grades K-12 (1.0 FTE)Special Requirements:The teacher is responsible for Band, Choral, and general music instruction to students in grades K-12. The teacher must hold a valid Oregon license with the proper endorsement. Additional endorsement in Art preferred, but not required.Qualifications Required:Valid Oregon Teaching License with proper endorsements(s).Knowledge and skills in instruction/learning methods.Ability to demonstrate positive classroom management skills.Compensation:Salary will be paid according to degree and years of experience for 174 contract days. The 2026-2027 salary schedule range is:Minimum: Bachelor's degree with no experience - $49,137 (Step 3)Maximum: Master's degree plus 45 hours - $86,166 (Step 15)Starting Date: August 31, 2026PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
