Nephrology Physician

SSM Health-Saint Louis University Hospital, in collaboration with Saint Louis University School of Medicine, is seeking a Transplant Nephrologist to join our expanding transplant program. This full-time academic position includes a faculty appointment at Saint Louis University, with rank commensurate with experience and qualifications. Preference will be given to candidates at the Associate or Full Professor level.Position Overview:The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team of transplant nephrologists, surgeons, coordinators, and administrative staff, contributing to all aspects of kidney transplant care and program development, including:Pre-transplant care: Evaluation of transplant candidatesPost-transplant management: Oversight of immunosuppression, complications, and co-morbidities in both inpatient and outpatient settingsProgram development and outreach: Strategic growth and community engagementAcademic responsibilities: Teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellowsResearch contributions: Participation in clinical, population-based, or basic science researchRequired Qualifications:Board Certification in Internal Medicine and NephrologyValid medical licenseFormal training and dedicated experience in Transplant NephrologyPreferred Qualifications:Demonstrated leadership and administrative capabilitiesProven track record in research or quality improvement productivity About SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital: SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital, a LEVEL 1 Time Critical Diagnosis hospital in Stroke, Trauma and STEMI, is at the forefront of ground-breaking medical treatments, procedures, clinical trials and comprehensive patient care.
