Volt is actively recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a busy, well-established aerospace manufacturer in North Hollywood.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical inspection of parts using basic hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, and other measurement instruments.Conduct visual inspections to verify surface finish, cosmetic requirements, and overall part quality.Create Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when defects or discrepancies are identified.Identify, tag, and properly segregate non-conforming product.Follow written procedures, instructions, and specifications to ensure compliance.Utilize computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn ERP/MRP systems.Read and interpret blueprints and basic GD&T symbols.Qualifications2-3 years of experience in mechanical or quality inspection (aerospace experience a plus).Basic understanding of GD&T per ASME Y14.5.Ability to use inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, radius gages, protractors, dial indicators, bore gauges, etc.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn company systems.Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:30 PM 12:00 Midnight Pay: $23.00 $26.00/Hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
