*Full Stack TypeScript Developer – Node.js / React* *Location:* Chesterfield, MO – Hybrid / Onsite *Contract:* Minimum 12 months with potential for extension *Pay:* $80.00–$90.00/hour W2 *Benefits:* Benefits and PTO options available We are seeking an experienced *Full Stack TypeScript Developer* for a long-term opportunity supporting a fast-paced R&D environment in Chesterfield, MO. This position will develop software systems that interact with automated machinery used in agricultural research. This is a *W2 contract position* expected to run for a minimum of 12 months. Candidates must be able to work onsite as part of a hybrid schedule in Chesterfield. *What You’ll Do* * Design and develop applications using *TypeScript, Node.js, and React* * Develop software that interfaces with automated machinery and research systems * Design relational databases and develop complex SQL queries * Design and develop JSON APIs * Gather and translate requirements from end users * Perform application development, debugging, testing, implementation, support, and enhancements * Participate in product design and technical specification discussions * Analyze test results and troubleshoot application issues * Work with cross-functional technical and research teams *Required Qualifications* * 5+ years of professional programming, database design, or server administration experience * 2+ years of professional *JavaScript/TypeScript* development experience * Strong *Node.js* development experience * Experience developing applications with *React* * Strong SQL query development skills * Relational database design experience * Experience designing and developing *JSON APIs / REST APIs* * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work onsite in Chesterfield, MO as part of a hybrid schedule *Preferred* * Git source control * GitHub Actions * Docker * Continuous Integration / CI tools This position works with teams in a *greenhouse environment*, and there may be exposure to elevated temperatures, humidity, and plant pollen.
