Project Manager*Operational versus technical*Administrative tasks*Chief of Staff combined with PM duties*Managing financials and project tools*Ensuring others have access to enter time and are assigned to the correct projects*Need to switch environments for new tool usage and this person would facilitate that process*AI requiredKey ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and Execution:Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and risk management strategies.Lead the day-to-day execution of project tasks, ensuring that project teams are on track to meet milestones.Team and Stakeholder Management:Lead and motivate cross-functional teams of engineers, developers, and other technical staff.Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, effectively managing stakeholder expectations.Facilitate project meetings, including kick-offs, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.Translate technical concepts and project status into clear, concise updates for both technical and non-technical audiences.Technical Oversight and Risk Management:Maintain a solid understanding of the project's technical architecture, challenges, and dependencies.Work with technical leads to identify and resolve technical roadblocks and challenges.Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.Ensure that the final deliverables meet the required quality standards and technical specifications.Process and Reporting:Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, providing regular reports on scope, schedule, and budget.Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.Conduct post-project evaluations and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
