This role is ideal for a cybersecurity professional who enjoys working across multiple technologies, customer environments, and security platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, securing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions across both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments.You will work with a diverse client base and gain exposure to cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies, cloud platforms, virtualization, compliance initiatives, and managed security services.Key ResponsibilitiesCyber SecurityPerform cybersecurity assessments, vulnerability scans, penetration testing, attack simulations, and threat hunting activities.Deploy and support cybersecurity solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.Configure and maintain security technologies including:Next-Generation FirewallsIDS/IPS PlatformsVulnerability Management SolutionsThreat Intelligence PlatformsContent Disarm & Reconstruction (CDR) SolutionsParticipate in SOC operations and SIEM integrations.Support security monitoring, incident response, and remediation efforts.Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging cybersecurity technologies.Cloud & InfrastructureDeploy and support cloud-based security solutions within AWS and Microsoft Azure environments.Design, implement, and maintain VMware environments including:ESXiVMware HorizonHigh Availability ClustersDevelop and support disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.Install, configure, and support Linux-based systems.Compliance & Risk ManagementStrengthen client security posture and support compliance initiatives including:HIPAAPCI-DSSNERC CIPISO 27001ISO 9001CMMCAssist with security audits, documentation, and remediation activities.Managed ServicesMonitor, maintain, and support customer networks, systems, and cybersecurity solutions in MSP/MSSP environments.Troubleshoot infrastructure and security-related issues while ensuring high service availability.Required QualificationsMust-HaveMinimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity and network engineering.Experience securing both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments.Strong understanding of networking concepts, routing, switching, and security best practices.Experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting.Hands-on experience installing and supporting VMware ESXi environments.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Preferred QualificationsSOC Analyst experience.Experience working in ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 regulated environments.Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.MSP or MSSP experience.Knowledge of security frameworks and risk management methodologies.Experience with Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.Project management experience.Experience supporting critical infrastructure or industrial control systems.Preferred CertificationsOne or more of the following certifications is highly desirable:CCNACEHAWS Certified Solutions ArchitectVMware Certified Professional (VCP)Sophos Engineer or Sophos Architect CertificationSecurity+CISSP (preferred but not required)
