REMOTE Sr. SQL Developer

Sr. SQL Developer Apex Systems, a national leader in IT Solutions, is searching for a Sr. SQL Developer for a high-growth Financial Services firm. This is a 1 year+ Contract opportunity with enterprise data transformation experience and strong team collaboration. This role is perfect for someone wanting to aggressively grow their career by acting as a data migration consultant utilizing SQL Server. You will partner with other SQL Developers and to write new SQL queries and drive a data migration into a. NET based primary application. You will work in an Agile Scrum environment and participate in Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Planning Sessions, Retrospectives, and other collaboration activities. You will use SQL tools such as MS SQL, MS Server Mgmt Studio and others. You will also get to interact with cloud technology in Azure, CI/CD tools like Git, and Agile tools like Jira and Confluence. Day to day Activities: Programming - primarily with T-SQL (MS SQL Server 2019) Conducting data conversions Designing, writing, testing, and SSRS reports Writing adhoc complex queries as requested for users and management Investigating new technologies as requested Assisting in creating technical specifications and test plans Participate in Agile practices to maximize team synergy and productivity Partnering with Apex Consulting team to provide technical solutions, ensure on time delivery, and coordinate development efforts Technical Stack:.NET MVC framework including ASP.NET and VB.NETSQL Server 2019, MS SQL, MS Server Mgmt Studio and other SQL development tools. Will also work with Azure as database shifts toward cloudCI/CD tools such as GitAgile tools like Jira and Confluence
