Maintenance Mechanic

Brief DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYThe maintenance mechanic is responsible for keeping the equipment in the ClimateMaster plant in goodoperating condition by performing preventative maintenance, machine tests, troubleshoots, removingtechnical issues, and performing emergency repairs.Essential FunctionsReasonable Accommodations StatementTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform theEssential Functions.Essential Functions Statement(s) Installation and assembling of new machines and equipment Maintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery Diagnosing and repairing machine failures Installing replacement parts Using power tools and different hand tools to execute assigned maintenance tasks and workorders Follow industry best practices and other safety guidelines Controls downtime by informing production works of routine preventative maintenancetechniques, monitoring compliance Logging performed maintenance work Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting actions, irregularities, and continuingneeds Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests Conduct and document regular facilities inspections Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codesSkills & AbilitiesEducation: High School Diploma or GED. Occupational or Vocational training in Electronics, Electrical,HVAC, controls or similar field preferredExperience:Experience as Commercial/Industrial service technician or equivalent combination of educationand experience.Computer Skills: Microsoft office tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
